I grew up in South Texas, where nobody talked about credit or financial planning. When I became a single mom, money pressure got real fast, and every denied application felt like another door closing.
When I finally pulled my credit report, I found collections I didn’t recognize, wrong balances, and accounts I could dispute. I taught myself consumer protection law and dispute strategy, and I watched my own negative items come off.
That experience led me to earn my Master of Social Work, because I believe financial health and mental health are tied together. I went on to earn my BCCC and CFSW credentials.
I founded She Rises Financial Solutions LLC in South Texas because the support I needed didn’t exist back then. We serve working parents, single moms and dads, and families recovering from divorce or medical crises, in English and Spanish.
Today, She Rises also offers tax preparation and notary services, so families can handle their credit, their money, and their paperwork in one trusted place.
